FAQ0007 There is a product for which a leak current standard value is defined in terms of CV. What is CV?

Answer

CV stands for an equation for calculating a leak current standard value. Specifically, C represents capacitance, and V represents rated voltage. For example, when a leak current standard value of 0.3 CV is specified for a capacitor with a capacitance of 100 μF and a rated voltage of 16 V, the following equation gives an actual leak current standard value for the capacitor.
0.3 CV = 0.3×100×16 = 480 (µA)
