Compliance with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)  (Device Solutions Business Division)

With the entry into application of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (hereinafter “PPWR”), packaging specification changes will be implemented as described below.

1. To comply with the European packaging regulation (PPWR), the following markings will be added to the packaging boxes.
・Location:
Printing on the primary and secondary packaging boxes, or, affixing a new label
・Items to be marked:
(1) Registered trademark or company name: added only if not already shown on the current packaging
(2) Manufacturer information: DoC registration information and EU Authorised Representative information (via QR code or printed text)
(3) Packaging identifier
2. The impact of the change points arising from the new markings added to the packaging boxes was verified using the table below. We confirmed that there is no adverse impact.
