Current damage report and recovery status at Panasonic Koriyama plant due to Typhoon Hagibis

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by Typhoon Hagibis, which traversed eastern Japan from October 12th to 13th.
It gave damages to Koriyama plant that is located in Koriyama central industrial park(Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) by the over flood of water from the river near by on early morning of October 13.
We apologize for the inconvenience and concerns of our customers, suppliers, and related parties.

The following is the current recovery status.

About recovery efforts

December 23rd Restarted some of production. And planning to increase the operation rate gradually.
Prospecting to resume shipment operations from January.
December 13th Conducting test run and final tuning of production facilities, and trial product evaluation
Prospecting to resume part of volume production soon
December 6th Started test run with some of production facilities
Preparing manufacturing environment to ensure the quality level
November 22nd Continue the maintenance of production facilities and equipment and procurement of necessary spare parts
Preparing test run with some of production facilities
November 8th Cleaning and washing are almost completed
Continue the maintenance of production facilities and equipment and procurement of necessary spare parts
October 25th Expanded more cleaning area inside factories with more additional manpower
and continue to inspect and repair each facility and equipment
October 17th Expanded premise cleaning area with additional manpower
October 16th On-site cleaning activities started for recovery
October 15th We have started to confirm the damages in the plant since water level started to decrease partially
