As various mobile devices have become smaller and thinner, the side-operational type switches used in side-key operation etc. have been required to have High peel strength of the solder joints
strength, sharp operational-feeling, measure against electro static discharge (ESD) as well as to be small and thin. To meet the market demand, Panasonic Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. have developed the Side-operational Edge Mount Light Touch Switches (dimension: 4.5 mm×2.2 mm).
