Producing the sound by utilizing bamboo materials
˜developing from paper diaphragm to resin diaphragm˜
Pursuiting the clear and natural sound by adopting natural materials
September 25, 2008, Osaka, Japan-Panasonic Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. has developed the speaker adopting "bamboo charcoal-resin diaphragm which is made by composing bamboo materials (bamboo charcoal and bamboo fiber) and resin", first in the industry (*1). The natural bamboo materials (carbonized bamboo and bamboo fiber) are utilized as a diaphragm of the newly developed speakers, reproducing higher clearness and more natural sound quality than conventional speakers using resin diaphragm. Also, they are expected to produce finer sound, contributing to improving the sound quality of a variety of equipment.
1.The diaphragm is composed of bamboo materials (carbonized bamboo and bamboo fiber) and resin first in the industry (*1). Specific Gravity: 10 to 15 % reduction compared with our current models (*2) 2.Reproducing high clearness and natural sound quality Internal loss: Approx. 1.5 times improvement compared with our current models (*2) 3.Excellently designable and high reliability
