Coin-type electric double layer capacitors used in real-time-clock or memory back-up function of the electronic equipment have been required to have a long life as well as high reliability along with the application expansion. To meet the market demand, Panasonic Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. has newly developed our original high-reliable material technology and commercialized the coin-type electric double layer capacitor with long life features, which is guaranteed for a long life of 2000 hours at 85°C, first in the industry (*1).
