As the digital broadcasting has become pervasive on a nationwide scale, AV equipment for home use including TV sets and DVD recorders, in which units for receiving the terrestrial digital broadcasting are built, have come into wider use in the market. Although the high-class models with comparatively larger size and power consumption such as big screen TVs have been mainly used, applications of the unit to diverse receivers including PCs and small LCD TVs are expected to increase in the growing market from now on. To meet the market demand, Panasonic Electronic Devices Co., Ltd. has developed the unit (TTM10J) for receiving the domestic terrestrial digital broadcasting with the smallest size and lowest power consumption in the industry.
